Glassblowing Experiences
Fridays, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (CLOSED MAY 16)

Feel the heat as you create hearts, flowers or a drinking glass out of molten glass with our resident glassblower's help. You will pick your colors, dip the molten glass into colored frit, re-heat the glass in the "glory hole,"

sculpt or blow the item, and knock it off the pipe.

FREE Glassblowing Demonstrations
Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. (CLOSED MAY 17)

You'll be blown away by the heat of the glassblowing studio (or hot shop) while you watch our resident glassblower, Paul Simonette, turn 2,100-degree molten glass into a lovely and functional piece of art. We're the only glassblowing studio in Fredericksburg and we're family & leashed-dog friendly.

We are excited to share the living history that is glassblowing. â€‹

Reservations not required.

Glassblowers take a short break for lunch at some point between 12:30-1:30. Please arrive by 3:30 p.m. to see glassblowing.

YARN FOR SALE

Holly is selling a good portion of her weaving and knitting yarn stash. Prices start at 50-cents a ball for textured yarn. Balls/skeins are priced at $1, $3, and $5 depending on size, type and quality of the yarn. Other high-end and hand-dyed/hand-painted yarn at 30% off original price.

Yarn will be available beginning Memorial Day weekend - Saturday and Sunday - from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and by appointment during the week. Check back for updated hours for the last week of May and summer.
